Awful design

This app is awful on an iPad. Certain features only appear in portrait orientation, while others only appear in landscape. So, thats a joy on an iPad with a Smart Cover attached.

There are no conventional transport controls. Only a 15-second skip forward or back. No FF, no REW. Access to a scrubbable timeline requires turning the iPad to portrait. Its not accessible in landscape, where the video would be bigger and clearer.

Also, at least on an iPad Pro, if you tap one of the notification emails you get from Nest, it launches a page in Safari that then tells you to get the Flash plugin. Why doesnt it launch the iOS app??
